Update on Tax Extensions and Office Status
We want to reassure you that we are diligently working to complete your tax returns timely and assist you in any way. Our accountants are working remotely and are available to answer any questions you may have by email, phone or text.
Should you expect a refund, we recommend that you file your tax return as soon as possible. If you will owe taxes, or need to make quarterly payments, please make sure to discuss your options with one of our experienced CPA’s.
We do want to reiterate that we are available to discuss any needs that you have regarding your business or personal situation.
Delivery of Documents
We also want to emphasize that the most efficient method to deliver your tax documentation to us is paperless, via Sharefile. If you are not familiar with Sharefile, please contact our IT Administrator, John Maloney, Jr. by calling our office at 215-675-8364. Please leave a message if after hours. If paperless is not an option, we encourage you to mail your documents using USPS. We are picking up packages sent to our Horsham office.
Federal Income Tax Filing and Payment Due Date
The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service has extended the tax filing due date to July 15th. Currently, we do not foresee any disruptions in service from our organization as it relates to the preparation of your income tax returns.
State Income Tax Filing and Payment Due Dates
The State of Pennsylvania has also extended the tax filing due date to July 15th. We are monitoring other states for their extended due date and will notify you of updates as soon as possible.
State of Wouch Maloney Services
As mentioned above, our employees are working remotely and are healthy. We do want to reiterate that we are available to discuss any needs that you have regarding recent changes in the tax laws, creating budgets, assisting with financing needs, bookkeeping services, or just a simple call to say hello.
These are unprecedented times, and difficult decisions need to be made. Please know one thing remains true, the health and well-being of your family, your employees and your business is very important to us. If there is anything we can do to help, please do not hesitate to reach out.
