The Philadelphia Inquirer unveiled the results of their inaugural 2024 Philly Favorite campaign on April 21, 2024. Wouch Maloney CPAs and Business Advisors is proud to win the 2024 Philly Favorite silver award for favorite accounting firm. What makes this award special, is we do not know who nominated our firm for this special recognition and are very humbled by this gesture.

2024 Philly Favorite Award Details

According to the official press release from The Philadelphia Inquirer, “this project has been a labor of love, born from our deep affection for this incredible community, and fueled by our unwavering dedication to promoting the vibrant tapestry of local businesses that make Philadelphia shine. The response we’ve received from both our beloved locals and the enthusiastic participation of businesses has been nothing short of exhilarating! With a staggering 7,725 businesses, organizations, and individuals nominated and vying for the spotlight in over 280 categories, the energy was palpable from the get-go.”

Nomination Period and Voting

The nomination period took place from December 4th through December 15th, 2023 and voting took place from January 1 through January 19, 2024. The response was nothing short of phenomenal, with over 586,000 votes pouring in, each one a testament to the unwavering love and support our communities have for our local heroes.

The final results provided 744 winners throughout the Philadelphia region. These businesses, representing the very essence of Philadelphia’s spirit, have captured our hearts and imaginations, earning their rightful place in the spotlight.

So, here’s to you, Philadelphia – for your boundless enthusiasm, unwavering support, and for making our first-ever Philly Favorites an unforgettable success! Let’s continue to celebrate and uplift our local treasures, because together, we make this city shine brighter than ever before.
