Seidman on Key Benefits of Working Families Tax Cuts

On February 6, 2026, Eric Seidman, CPA, MBA and partner represented Wouch Maloney CPAs & Business Advisors and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at an event held in Washington, DC, hosted by House GOP Conference Chair Lisa McClain of Michigan. Eric was invited to discuss the OBBBA and how it benefits businesses, specifically in the AEC industry. The event was part of the U.S. House Republican Conference’s “Working Families Tax Cuts Coalitions Row,” where Eric met directly with congressional staff to discuss how recent tax policies are affecting companies on the ground.

In a video testimonial, Seidman, shared some of the key benefits of the Working Families Tax Cuts Act for his clients and the construction industry as a whole. He emphasized that making the Section 199A Qualified Business Income deduction permanent would prevent a major tax increase on small business contractors, while 100% bonus depreciation continues to give firms the flexibility to invest in equipment and growth.

In March 2026, Eric is scheduled to attend ABC’s national convention in Salt Lake City, Utah where he will continue the discussion on the OBBBA and the benefits to the AEC industry.
