Employee & Company Awards

Recognizing employees for their contributions has always been an essential part of our culture at Wouch Maloney CPAs & Business Advisors. In 2014, we began to officially recognize one employee who truly went above and beyond during tax season by presenting them with the Tax Season Excellence Award.

To receive the Tax Season Excellence Award, an employee must demonstrate, every day, the value of excellence one person can provide through exceptional client service, teamwork, mentoring and leadership.

The first recipient was Terry C. Martin, CPA. Terry was the ideal person to receive the inaugural award because he was a dedicated colleague and friend who demonstrated, every day, the value of excellence one person can provide through exceptional client service, teamwork, mentoring and leadership. Unfortunately, Terry passed away. The following year, we renamed the award in memory of Terry and selected a colleague who best represents the qualities Terry demonstrated not only during tax season, but year-round.

2024 Tax Season Excellence Award Recipient

We are proud to announce that Sweta Joshi, CPA, is the recipient of the 2024 Tax Season Excellence Award. Sweta is a tax manager in our Horsham office. Her expertise and commitment have truly set her apart, making her an invaluable asset to our tax practice for the past five years. Please join us as we congratulate Sweta on this well-deserved award.

Marketing Awards

Our WM Wednesday Wisdom was launched in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic. We would not be able to maintain this weekly newsletter without the assistance from our entire team. From partners, managers, senior accountants, and members of our administrative support teams, it takes a village to bring relevant news and information to our clients and friends. In honor of the contributions to our weekly articles, we created two annual marketing awards. The recipients were announced during our annual spring celebration dinner.

Top-Performing Articles

The top-performing article on our website was written by Julie Shennard, CPA, manager, in our Horsham office. Her article “Annual Reminder for S-Corp Owners: Include Health Insurance Premiums Page for 2% Shareholder-Employee on W-2” was the most read article on our website with the most unique visitors in 2023.

The top-performing article posted on our Wouch Maloney CPAs LinkedIn page was co-written by Abraham Shahswar, CPA and Sweta Joshi, CPA. Their article, “Year-End Tax Planning: Individuals,” was the top performing post in 2023.
