Coronavirus (COVID-19) National Emergency – Office Policy Update
To our clients and colleagues:
Keeping you and your family safe is paramount, which is why we are taking proactive steps to address concerns you may have as it relates to the declaration of a national emergency involving Coronavirus (COVID-19). First and foremost, we want to maintain a safe workplace and adopt practices to protect the health of staff, clients and others.
On Friday, March 13th, State and Federal Government officials announced school closings and recommendations to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. This national crisis has created an unprecedented disruption in our personal and professional lives.
Office Status and Communication Methods
Our Horsham office will remain open to employees only. On Saturday, March 14, we began a temporary moratorium on face-to-face meetings with clients until further notice. All staff members have been asked to cease attending outside organizational meetings.
While we will not be meeting with clients in person, we will continue to offer our clients the option of providing business and personal tax documentation electronically via Sharefile. During this time, our preferred methods of communication will be email, phone or mail.
We also have internal communication tools to keep in touch with our team in order to continue business as normal as possible. Should a directive from government officials require our business office to close, we have provided our accountants with the necessary business equipment to work from a remote location.
Our Commitment to Clients
While none of us are doing business as usual, we do want to reassure you that we are doing everything possible to get through these unprecedented times. Please know that the Wouch Maloney management team will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes in this policy.
Our entire team is available by email and phone. Please call our main number at 215-675-8364 to reach us with any concerns or questions. We are here to offer support in any way that we can.
Sincerely,
John F. Maloney, CPA, CFF, CVA, ABAR
