Adrienne Straccione Receives 2021 Women to Watch Award

The recipients of the 2021 Women to Watch Award were announced during the morning session of the annual PICPA Women’s Leadership Conference, held virtually, on June 22nd.

Adrienne Straccione, CPA, and the first woman partner at Wouch Maloney CPAs and Business Advisors, was an honoree and award recipient. The purpose of the award is to honor the women who enhance the accounting profession through personal growth, success, and the leadership development of colleagues.

Nomination

Adam Greene nominated Adrienne for this prestigious award. Adam was a past president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the PICPA, former colleague and mentor to Adrienne during the first 10 years of her accounting career.

A total of four women throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania were recognized for the 2021 Women to Watch Award. Joining Adrienne for this honor were Bethany Novia; Brenda Pawlowski and LaDawn Yesho.

History of Award

The Women to Watch Award Program began in 2005 by the AICPA’s Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee (WIEC). Through a partnership with state CPA societies, the award is presented to outstanding women in the accounting profession.
