Stephen W. Wouch, CPA, installed as Treasurer of Associated Builders and Contractors, New Jersey Chapter
Horsham, PA – February, 2008 - Stephen W. Wouch, CPA, Managing Partner of Wouch, Maloney & Co., LLP, has been elected Treasurer of the Associated Builders and Contractors, New Jersey Chapter. The Associated Builders and Contractors, New Jersey represents over 24,000 New Jersey members which are engaged in commercial construction as general contractors, specialty contractors or as service or product suppliers to the members of the Association.
Wouch’s duties as Treasurer include the preparation of financial reports, annual budget, maintenance of the chapter’s accounting records and generally ensuring that the chapter is on sound financial footing. Wouch has served as Treasurer in the past, and has held other board positions within the ABC New Jersey chapter.
“There are enormous opportunities in the construction arena today,” says Wouch, “and as a member of the board, I am committed to helping members of the Associated Builders and Contractors advance their businesses in today’s competitive marketplace.”
Wouch is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and has served clients in the construction and other industries for over 30 years. He has extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and tax issues particularly as they relate to contractors. In addition to his membership in New Jersey ABC, he currently sits on the national Tax Committee of ABC and is a current member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and serves on the Board of Directors of the publicly held Quigley Corporation.
