2017 Pennsylvania Tax Amnesty Program

You may recall that we sent you the article below last September.  We would like to remind you that the deadline for participating in this amnesty program expires June 19, 2017.  Please let us know if we can provide you with any assistance.

Do you have any taxes that are past-due and owed to Pennsylvania? You may be eligible to have any penalties and one-half of the interest waived through a new Pennsylvania tax amnesty program that runs from April 21 through June 19, 2017.

Taxpayers can participate by registering online, filing all delinquent tax returns, and making the required payment within the amnesty period.  Wouch, Maloney & Co. can help you with the registration and preparation of your tax returns that are required to participate in the amnesty program.

The following taxes and more are eligible for tax amnesty:

  • Personal Income Tax
  • Capital Stock or Foreign Franchise Tax
  • Employer Withholding Tax
  • Corporate Net Income Tax
  • Sales and Use Tax (includes Philadelphia)
  • Inheritance and Estate Tax

Warning: Taxpayers with past-due taxes who do not participate in the tax amnesty program may face a 5 percent non-participation penalty and enhanced collection actions.

We very much appreciate the opportunity to serve you.  Please contact Stephen Slade, Tax Manager, at 215-675-8364 with any questions or if you would like to participate in the tax amnesty program.
