Senior Accountant
Expanding suburban public accounting firm has outstanding opportunities for senior level accountants with recent public accounting experience to serve our CPA firm and help lead our practice into the future. Our main office is located in the northern suburbs of Philadelphia.
We are a regional firm with locations in Horsham and Yardley, Pennsylvania and Fort Myers, Florida. Our offices are spacious and we recently added 3,000 square feet to our main office. The firm provides accounting, reporting, tax planning and preparation services to high net worth individual and closely held business clients along with management consulting services. It also assists its clients with litigation support services, business valuations, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions and other less traditional services. Due to our national and international client base, we are experienced in multi-state issues and international tax.
In our audit department, we perform audits of non-public construction, manufacturing, real estate and not-for-profit entities. Most of the audits are within an hour’s drive from Philadelphia. There is little long distance travel. Candidates for this position should have a working knowledge of GAAP and GAAS. Compilations and reviews are provided for the majority of our business clients. Excellent attention to detail skills are required for this position.
Senior accountants should have varied tax experience in federal and state income, estate, trust and sales tax. These individuals should also possess leadership qualities and be skilled in communicating with clients, taxing authorities and other professionals. Excellent attention to detail skills are required for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA license and a minimum of 3 years of experience within a CPA firm context.
